Fifth Element Group is stylish, trendy and in the know with ears always to the ground! Our trend-spotting team is consistently out and about in the city of Toronto, across Canada and now across the USA. We thrive on experiencing new trends in music, events, conferences, fashion and even cuisine. We take pride in our ability to capture something new that’s relatable to lifestyle event design. We recognize that we are at our best when pushing the boundaries of creativity and exclaiming, ‘WE DID IT FIRST!’.
This award winning event took home an International Gala Award from Special Event Magazine for Best Decor Under $50,000. Its rustic look and charming colours showed over 800 event professionals what trends were coming in 2013 in event design and interior installation.
Toronto Jazz Festival
The TD Toronto Jazz Festival at Shops at Don Mills brought together a community of music fans and shoppers at the trendy outdoor mall. Creating a MUSIC CITY, our team developed sofa lounge pods and canopies, and installed piano note crosswalks throughout the mall to enhance the week long engagement. Guests were treated to incredible music and tastes of the shops all week long.
Extravagant Backyard Shower
In the heart of summer, we erected a custom tent and custom Plexi flooring over a backyard pool that made for an intimate shower for close friends and family. Crystal chandeliers brought a shimmer to the space, and tables were accented with orchids in tall cylinder vases and white Pierre chairs. White pearl installations hung from a wooden canopy and large white pearls cascaded out of the floral installation on the head table.
Adball has become a tradition for our team since winning the Star Award for Most Outstanding Event Under $100,000 in 2010. This event brings together 500 of the top Marketing and Advertising professionals in the Canadian market. In 2013, Adball: Gatsby took home another award for Most Outstanding Event Under $100,000 at the Star Awards.
Real Steel Disney
On the eve of the Canadian release of Real Steel, our team designed and executed the launch party for the movie in the heart of the Distillery Historic District at the Fermenting Cellar. Fitting the space with truss structures and industrial decor including metal distressed lounges, the event was the first of its kind. A fully functional truss bar with a raised DJ booth was the key element to this design.
Toby’s Bar Mitzvah
This was not your typical Bar Mitzvah. Toby, an old soul with a love of authenticity, music and the outdoors, wanted a look that mimicked his values. By using restored woods, brown leather, candlelight and minimalist florals, such as baby’s breath, this event showcased a mature thirteen year old’s refined taste.
